    Cuando salgo a andar por la montaña paso a veces cerca de la Escuela Judicial, que está en un lugar privilegiado de la ladera del Tibidabo.

    Allí los forman como cuerpo de élite, y la dirección de la Escuela también es un lugar de élite al que se llega con contactos políticos de alto nivel.

    Y me ha dado por pensar que la Escuela no debería alejar a los jueces del pueblo y convertirlos en élite. Debería instalarse en el Raval, para que los jueces se mezclasen con el pueblo al que han de servir.

      La de veces que he hablado esto con amistades que trabajan en el submundo judicial: la judicatura está compuesta (alguna excepción habrá, supongo) por gente que no sabe lo que es buscarse la vida, y se les nota por la forma de actuar. Ojo, no quito mérito a echar muchos años estudiando para conseguir plaza, pero... ¿Quién puede pasarse tantos años estudiando en exclusiva, sin trabajar? Pues eso.

    #feditips There are actually Fediverse groups called guppes hosted at <a.gup.pe>. It's a bit like Facebook groups, but decentralized. If you follow a guppe, for example @philosophy, you get access to the group's posts on your timeline. If you tag a group like @philosophy, you post to the group and your post will show up in the timelines of the group members.

    A word of warning though: according to the FAQ, there are currently no moderation tools since it's quite decentralized.

    Basically, guppes are like hashtags but they show up in your timelines.

      @abolisyonista @philosophy tried it a bit. It seems a bit half baked. Or like someone hacked some things together on an instance using activitypub protocol to make something a bit like groups. Since it’s all dependent on the functionality of a single instance, it’s prone to be brittle and easy to take down, so I would not trust it to be resilient enough to build any organizing on it. Correct me if I’m wrong. #groups #activitypub #aguppe
