   Did following from another server get worse? I swear if you were on another server and hit "follow" it would ask you to log in and then you would just already follow.

   Now it tells you to copy-paste?

     @JordiGH @thegibson @zash Before this, I could press "follow" and give my handle, so it redirected to my Gnusocial server, just with another click to confirm. Really nice.
     
     Now, I have to copy the handle, go to my server, paste it, change the format (it only gets user @ server, before it worked with https:// server / user) and confirm.
     
     I feel this is an anti-feature. I know, first world problems, but anti-feature nonetheless.

     I honestly don't know if Mastodon will last, but that's one of the reasons why I like it anyway; that it's volunteer + donations fueled.

   Lleváis dos semanas en mastodon y ya me tenéis hasta el higo de quejaros de los CW. Ahora otro señor que es que los CW de política blabla. Mira pos si no te gustan puedes hacer tres cosas:
   1. No usarlos. La gente que no quiera ver contenido sin filtrar ya te hará unfollow.
   2. Marcar en tus opciones que te muestre siempre el contenido de los toots marcados como CW.
   3. Irte a llorar a forocoches

   @Corroncio Gracias por publicar esto. He ayudado a gente que gestionaba un refugio, acogiendo a gatetes hasta que alguien los adoptara definitivamente (como "Panoli", en mi imagen de perfil), y esa gente, además de gestionar todo ese curro, también hacían campañas como las que describes.
   Me emociona ver que hay gente así, de verdad. Gracias.

      特に選定基準は書いていないですが、

      • 月間アクティブユーザー数が多い。
      • ユーザー登録を開放している。(承認制ではない。)
      • 連合タイムライン・ローカルタイムラインをログインせずに見られる。
      • ユーザーディレクトリをログインせずに見られる。
      • 改造のない素のマストドンである。

      という基準でやっています。

    When I visit someone’s @pixelfed profile, I only see a “login” button, not a “follow” button that I can use to (remote) follow them from anywhere else on the fediverse.

    Similarly, I don’t see any way to comment from my own fediverse instance (just “Login to like or comment.”)

    Am I missing something?

    (I know I can copy the URL into my instance’s search feature but that’s an entirely hidden gesture.)

      @mathias @aral From my computer, I can't see any follow button, using Firefox or Chrome. Unless you mean the three-dots besides the account name, and then "copy link".

      @aral @pixelfed you are using Safari, right? You (weirdly) need to use another browser for that. Everything else seems to work, but there is no follow button in Safari.

    Me ha 'empezao' a seguir un tal Almeida (@bufetalmeida). Me he 'preocupao' un poco por si era la nueva cuenta en mastodon del presi de Madrid porque había 'dejao' también al pajarito, pero no tiene cara de polla así que he 'acabao' relajándome. Le he 'dao' a seguir, parece majo a pesar del apellido. No es culpa suya, a ver.

    ¿Alguien por #Indiweb que esté usando #WordPress en los servidores de Siteground? No logro que me reconozca el protocolo #ActivityPub y debe ser algo del servidor pero claro, tampoco puedo entrar tan adentro. A lo mejor alguien ya lo logró y me cuenta!
