   We could eliminate most fediverse spam with sms registration at the expense of early adopters who disproportionately despise it.

   Do we sacrifice growth for "UX" or take advantage of established anti-spam measures?

   This is the million dollar question for every #activityPub project. What do you think? #fediverse #spam

     I think the collaborative approach is the way to go: a common (as much as possible) database of spam mails. As soon as the first server is affected, the spam mail is stored and the rest of the servers are aware of it, automatically rejecting the creation of an account.
     I'm no programmer though, don't know if this would be a lot of work...

     @bufalo1973 Well, not in the way I think about it. If it is implemented in an "opt-in" way, servers which adhere to it will gain an anti-spam measure; servers which won't will stay the same as we are now.

     @aab I think you are talking about some kind of "social credit". If a server gets a warning about a spam/hate/... user and the server does nothing, the server loses "federation points". If it gets too low, the server becomes a "poisoned server".

   ベランダと玄関の網戸。1万円ずつくらいかかってもいいから、工事して設置してもらうか。エアコンあまり使いたくないし。開けれたらだいぶ風通し良くなって涼しくなる。虫とかゴキブリも入ってこないし。

    gitの追跡ブランチ、上流ブランチがよくわからない。shallow fetch後に追跡ブランチの設定がうまくできず困る。明日一日かけて整理するか…回線細いので常にshallowしているので。
