    I was hopeful that #DuckDuckGo removing support for quotes wouldn't be that impactful. Then I immediately had a few searches that required quotes to get even close to a useful result.

    Anyone have any better #search engines to recommend?

        @ShadowJonathan most people are addicted to recommendations fueled by advertising and controversy.

        I've attempted to tell others irl about this, telling them how much better Fediverse can be for your mental health. And most seemed to agree, but they also recognize they prefer that.

        It's hopeless. But yeah, the fact that Bluesky chose to use their own protocol, and all the effort that implies, should be enough of a reason to not evangelize their goals.
