      インターネットでは、性嫌悪者による苦痛の訴えを、さまざまな形式で見ることができる。そのなかには、公共の場所から性的身体の図像を撤去することを求めるものもあれば、単に苦痛を表明するだけのものもある。

      この種の苦痛は明らかに実在する苦痛である。言葉のうえだけで創作されたものではない。

      ところで、LGBTPZNの中核となる問題意識は、法と倫理によって徹底的に自分自身を破壊された者が、なおも何らかの倫理や価値観に対して誠実であることは可能だろうか？、と表現されてきた。性嫌悪者の置かれている状況は、これにきわめて近い。差し迫った苦痛をもたらすものを見せられ続けてきた者が、それを見せようとしてきた者と、何らかの倫理や価値観を共有することは可能だろうか？ あるいは、私たちがそれを要求することは妥当だろうか？

      性嫌悪者が自らの主張を立証するには、苦痛を表明すればそれで十分である。インターネットで論をやっていくことや、他者にとって共感しやすい主張を構成することまで、要求するべきではない。

      歴史的に見れば、さまざまなメディアと広告を通して、見たくもないバラエティやスポーツを見せられてきた歴史を、オタクは共有してきたはずだ。個室であればテレビの電源を切ればよいが、例えば家庭の食卓であれば、どうだろうか？ だとすれば、見たくもない性的身体を見せられたという性嫌悪者の主張とは、むしろ親和性があるはずである。

      問題を放送協会に限定すれば、ノーベル賞を解説する番組に、椎名林檎や吉田輝星が出演したら、なんとなく嫌である。このような主張であれば、より多くの読者に受け入れられるだろう。

      いくらインターネットのディベートで優位に立ったところで、本当に敗北しているのは、性的身体の愛好者たちである。私たちは、他のすべての偽同盟者たちを捨てて、性嫌悪者と連帯すべきだ。
