I'm super excited: I received print proof prototypes for Pepper&Carrot book 4. In English from DriveThrucomics and in French from Glénat, the two almost in sync. They both looks perfect! 😸 They'll be available at the same time next week, I'm working on the release.
It's not built-in and not supported by official team working at Krita Foundation. You can find Stable Diffusion as a plugin made by someone externally to the team.
https://github.com/w4ffl35/krita_stable_diffusion
It requires downloading the model of the AI separately, and you'll need an account.
Stable Diffusion/LAION model is not Free/Libre and Open-Source compatible. It's a form of Open-Source with many rules on the top to prevent "AI Take Over" and unethical usage (how ironic).

Thanks for the links and good job pipivovott on the recent artworks.
I put a dried flower in her hair, but it's on the defocus side of the portrait, so it suggests something pointy and pale yellowish but it is not clearly identifiable. (I love the aesthetic of dried plants, a sort of "autumn nature gothic" vibes in them 😆).
By the way, for the license I know Pleroma Tan is under CC-By-Sa, but what is the content of the original attribution? "pleroma.social" ?
@helene @vyivel @pipivovott @hj @Moon
Thanks!
Mmm... If the original is CC-BY-SA-4.0 "shitposter.club" , then it's recursive and the derivation of the shy one has to be also CC-BY-SA-4.0. It can't be more open under CC-By-4.0 (just saying).
Too bad the attribution contains the word "shit", that might deboost a lot my art on other social media when I'll have to attribute.
I'll look at the COPYING file ☺️
Thanks! (and message from @Moon ) well received.
Now it's clear. I'll post mine as
"CC-BY-SA-4.0 David Revoy, pleroma.social" , so I'll keep the spirit of the Libre license, point to the project, and avoid the 'shit' word 😉 If you agree and like it, feel free to advise the same practise for future authors on https://git.pleroma.social/pleroma/pleroma/-/blob/develop/COPYING

@hj Yes ☺️ I'm trying to adapt her to my style. Cool character design, but I'll probably skip the print on her kimono with the big Plemora logo so it looks less than a promo shirt on the illustration. On a painterly artwork, it will probably look more artistic.
@vyivel @hj 🤯 🤯🤯 Oh wow. I see ( https://git.pleroma.social/pleroma/pleroma/-/tree/develop/priv/static/images ) Thanks for telling. 💚
For a reason I always shuffled the 'r' and 'm'. No idea why. Ok, I'll try to remember the mnemonic like in " Aroma', Pleroma.
Good to get this info before posting the real one with a big mistake in the title.
Thanks for preventing this!
Very cool new setting in #Krita 5.1(beta1): use separate cursor settings for eraser. 😍
What a good festival!

Pepper&Carrot episode 37 production report: an important milestone today. The alpha version (still in French) was posted to proofreaders. Here is a photo of my setup over last month for drawing and inking all pages:
New Pepper&Carrot derivation: a short scene animated coming with a fully detailed #krita and #b3d making-of. A project done by Purism's Creative Director @francois .
You can read the full making-of here: https://puri.sm/posts/animating-pepper-carrot-with-librem-laptop/
I really liked the result and all the production tips on the article (the compositing!). A very good resource if you are interested into animation with Free/Libre and Open Source tools.
:mastodon: Mastodon tip: you can customize a column to list multiple hashtags (and block-list some of them too). It's a good way to discover all the posts gravitating around the topics you like (eg. for art, #mastoart is a popular one). That's really a feature I love here and wanted to share it to newcomers.
???? Happy anniversary KDE! For this occasion, I painted this artwork (using #krita on #kubuntu, of course).→ The party continues on https://25years.kde.org/#kde25years
I like the new #kdenlive 21.04! I just finished the edit of a new video tutorial with it (about 'shading', I'll post it later today) and the new auto-generated subtitle feature with speech recognition saves me 2h of work! (and surprisingly this one recognise my heavy French accent with a high percentage of success). Such a typing burden I did weekly to do less... Thanks again devs! And new keyframe actions are also lovely to use. ????
