augustus pugin ?https://youtu.be/a0TK_vk-XDM Ancient video from the internet before times, I don't have much to comment on it, other than I think it's unfair to Americans and comes from a period in which portraying Americans as stupid ignorant rednecks was all the rage mostly due to Bush era wars and the popularity of Michael Moore and stuff like that. with the benefit of hindsight (and Moldbug) its clear that hating these types of Americans (red staters) is actually a sign of total loyalty to mainline America (blue state religion), and so it is that what seems like superficial anti-Americanism is actually the most powerful form of partisan hyper-Americanism there is. the Australian host in this video is showing his allegiance to blue tribe by engaging in their favorite sport of demeaning and baiting working class rednecks.
@Ariovistus say something nice about Jews to prove you're not biased

augustus pugin ?I had a dream recently with a panorama like this of the ocean, but it kept going upwards out of my field of view, like I could see the entire thing all at once, there was no sky just violent sea stretching upward, with features, whirlpools, rocky outcrops, enormous krakens far in the distance, too much detail for my brain to process
The effect I'm thinking about isn't really a panorama, it's like a highly elevated shot that captures a very very large distance but somehow shrinks the foreground and magnifies the distant parts so that they appear roughly equal and you get overloaded with detail. Altdorfer's Battle at Issus is the only thing I've seen that really captures this feeling.
@mono I listened to one of their albums once and I turned it off in disgust because I thought it was too good (not a joke, it was demoralizing). got anything shittier?
