    @boss A ver, si te la montas tú, pues ya está, es tu decisión.

    Desde un punto de vista técnico... seguramente se "ahogaría" un poco al arrancarla por tener que procesar peticiones en espera, y eso con suerte, porque seguramente muchas se perderían.
    Le veo más sentido a usar algún aparato (tipo Pi, pero hay muchas más) de bajo consumo.

    Siempre hay peticiones, las 24 horas del día.

    Me has recordado a Greta, una gata que me encontró en la calle; apenas llegaba a un mes.
    Durante años se mantuvo el siguiente ritual: cada vez que llegaba a casa, ella se subía a mis hombros, ronroneaba como si le fuera la vida en ello, y echaba gotitas por la nariz. Eso sí, unos minutos y fuera.

    Por supuesto, nunca me atreví a cortar el ritual 🤤

    @fasnix I agree with @Blort except that I wouldn't call it a Mastodon server, but an ActivityPub one (Nextcloud server, if you wish).

    I try it from time to time and yes, it's in the not-enterprise version, but it is not ready (yet).

    @Corroncio @danlartez (Respondo y no voto, que desde Gnusocial no se puede).
    Supongo que ya habréis leído que, pese a las formas diferentes de implementar los DM de twitter y mastodon, en ninguno de los dos sitios (ni tampoco en el resto del #Fediverso) son realmente privados.

    Si hay suficiente gente que quiera que lo sean, y sobre todo, gente con los conocimientos técnicos para implementarlos, pues adelante.

    Lo que intento explicar es que, al menos hasta que cambie el paradigma, básicamente lo que se publica en una red social es público. Mastodon, Pleroma, etc han implementado modos "semi-públicos" (publicar no listado, etc), pero no funciona con otros softwares que se conectan al #Fediverso.

    Hasta que las cosas cambien, según lo veo, lo aconsejable es no enviar nada que no quieras que sea público. Hay herramientas estupendas para eso, como XMPP, Matrix, etc.

    @JordiGH @thegibson @zash Before this, I could press "follow" and give my handle, so it redirected to my Gnusocial server, just with another click to confirm. Really nice.

    Now, I have to copy the handle, go to my server, paste it, change the format (it only gets user @ server, before it worked with https:// server / user) and confirm.

    I feel this is an anti-feature. I know, first world problems, but anti-feature nonetheless.

    @Corroncio Gracias por publicar esto. He ayudado a gente que gestionaba un refugio, acogiendo a gatetes hasta que alguien los adoptara definitivamente (como "Panoli", en mi imagen de perfil), y esa gente, además de gestionar todo ese curro, también hacían campañas como las que describes.
    Me emociona ver que hay gente así, de verdad. Gracias.
