@Galahad Either you're too overwhelmed and need a break to refocus, or you need to analyze the problem more and divide it into smaller achievable parts.
Both situations are hard to tell apart from each other at the time.
@dcent To me it's a tad ironic, because many of the people who vocally argue HOAs are the worst thing ever, are often themselves the very same busybodies when it comes to expression online.
When someone's moral framework boils down to "rules for thee, but not for me" I can't take anything they say seriously.
@dcent Home owner association. In essence it's a very tiny government for your community. They take fees to fund management, regulations and services.
They get a lot of flack because as the photo points out, if your neighbor disagrees with your choice of decoration it may fall under one of these regulations for example.
@wjmaggos I disagree with his criticisms of a fixed money supply but I agree with his original point: supply matters.
On housing, Belinda Carr has an interesting video arguing against a shortage of housing. Instead she effectively argues that the entire market has been warped by financial markets and awful incentives.
