We’re lucky that our modern little first floor flat has good insulation and retains heat. We started putting the heating on in the morning for no more than half an hour last week, and it’s soon toasty, and stays warm all day.

Little one is a good few months behind with his talking. Putting the grocery shopping away this morning, he spotted something*, went over to Mum and said, “Come on!” Took her to the object of interest in the kitchen and said, “What’s that?!”

@simsa04 wife has just informed me that the bit she did is in the bottom left (or right) corner. Eight-year-old did the stuff on the top (or the right). Which makes much more sense.

@simsa04 the second also has two perspectives. It's shown from Mum's perspective. Little one was sat to her left, so need to look at it like this to see his.

First one is by eight-year-old, he says inspired by van Gogh.

Second one is by two-and-a-half-year-old, with a fair bit of help from his Mum. She's got some arty background from schooldays.
