@mike Yeah, sounds similar to what pixelfed will do. I added soft-deletes to relevant tables a few months back. The only thing not deleted is the username to prevent it from being registered again.

Trying to balance screen real estate with features while keeping the UI simple is one of the most challenging things about working on pixelfed.

I can spend hours of testing icons to find the perfect one or thinking of the best UX flow for a specific feature. #pixeldev
