@tcit The blockquote only loads a placeholder. It gets replaced with an iframe if you have js enabled. Its just like IG embed.

@wakest @yabirgb @syuilo Yes, it will federate but not publicly. Each Story is essentially a bcc DM to followers that gets automatically deleted after 24 hours. The reaction will be an ActivityPub Extension, which can be consumed by any other AP client that supports it.

@sivy MissKey already supports them, so I can't take all the credit.

@wakest I will be working with @yabirgb on this. I'm not sure if other projects want ephemeral content or will be able to handle it but I am up for working with other devs for sure.

@wakest Yes, the reactions are only delivered to the actor recording the story, and its just temporary.

@wakest Well, I would hope it doesnt make it to HN, not ready for that yet lol

@wakest Yes, that will be the first stable release. Have a lot of features I have been working on since June that will be released too!
