Side-note:
Instance is synonymous with server, and I think using the word "instance" was a bit of a mistake on my part during early Mastodon development. It's a programming term that less people are familiar with from other contexts. I suggest using "server" in your UIs

古い投稿全体が自動削除の対象になると、固定トゥとか、どこからどこまで削除になるかの周知とか、実はリプでずっと議論してましたとか、色々考え始めて日が暮れようとしている

オブジェクトのコレクション（配列とかリストとかデータベースとか）に関するアルゴリズムって、削除しないことを前提とすると単純にできたり高速化できたりするので、削除機能を省いているシステムもあるかも。
それを推して削除するかどうかだけど、お一人様前提なら可用性を気に病まないだろうから、時間の掛かるガベコレみたいなことするのもありありかもしれないなーとも思ったり。
