@simon Neon is not technically a full distro. It was originally designed as a test bed distro for KDE software. Obviously, you can run non-KDE software (like LibreOffice) on it and use it as regular distro, but that was not its original intention, so it is not a priority for the creators.

The over 120 individual programs plus the dozens of programmer libraries that makeup KDE Gear are getting today more than two weeks worth of bugfixes and updated translations in version 21.08.1:
