I've done my best to minimize Sidekiq dependencies as much as possible, since doing so minimizes maintenance and risk in using a 3rd party library.
Sidekiq Enterprise requires -seven- 3rd party gems. Any guesses as to how many modules a Node equivalent would need? Thousands?

At some point, the NPM community will have to reckon with the fact that they've painted themselves into a corner with a design which makes long-term maintenance really expensive.
