   This morning I got up and felt pretty miserable and didn't want to exercise. But I forced myself, which sucked for a good long while. But then I was walking in the dark and I stopped to rest for a moment. It was almost completely silent, except for a slight cool breeze. It was all dark except for the landscape was dotted with lights from distant houses.
   
   I leaned in and everything in my mind poured out on the ground, leaving just tranquility. I stayed like that for a minute, before I realized just how special the moment was, and was almost moved to tears.
   
   Then just as sunrise was beginning, I saw a family of javelinas, that for whatever reason consented to be approached. In all the time I've lived in Arizona, I had not yet seen the wild javelinas. I watched them for about five minutes.
   
   By this time I was completely revitalized and finished my walk.
   
   The moral of the story for me was, if I had not forced myself to get up and exercise, I would not have experienced any of this. I have almost never regretted it.
