Thing is everyone, Marisa included, knew about how to enact the plan that led them to finally confronting Hecatia and ending her disturbance. Here's what Marisa was actually saying:
"How could someone like me defeat them? That's because they knew..."
"... They knew that the three of us could shatter your plans."
<next page>
"There's no way that they... SHE... could lose to someone like me..!"
Everyone who fought Marisa was jobbing so that she could get enough power for the grand magic. And she knew that clearly.
It made her frustrated, but she knew that Hecatia was just riling her up to use that accumulated magic to fight Hecatia, and make Marisa fall from her humanity.
Marisa realizes this too, and instead of giving Hecatia what she wants, strangles the god with her human hands. There, now you understand the ending.
geez, I wish translators would proof read to see if what they wrote made sense.
