>What's with the yelow wests?
Basically the people have enough of the lying and out of touch government. A lot of people can't afford to live/eat with the taxes that went haywire.
So people, without any leadership and they don't want any, began to regroup and protest.

>Is it happening?
Yes. It's probably going to be the day of the guillotine.
The protests started after gas price went too high, and the gov used the "it's for ecology" lie via encouraging/forcing people to buy electric cars.
When the elected tried to give crumbs to the people to calm them down it went worse because this is what they have done for the past 30 years.
People tried to speak with the elected with the condition that it has to be on national television, the elected said yes but behind closed doors, people said no and the elected doesn't want to do engage negotiation in public.
So instead of a sudden uprising since people tried to negotiate with the government, it began to build up into what we have today.

>Is it just fake news again?
Journalist are accomplice with the government they have done nothing but to spread fake news and deliberately sabotaging the movement from the start.

But still I am suspicious on how the movement started since it's mostly facebook and you know it that thing glows.
