   @MatejLach @Wolf480pl As far as I know there is only 1 problem that pulse solves and that is if you want to change your audio interfaces without restarting all your programs but that's about it. It's not required on most systems. (I'm using pure alsa setup right now and it's working just fine)

     @MatejLach @Wolf480pl Sure you need to know a little bit more knowledge then with systemd but considering that systemd is one big monolithic thing that like to break (oh and the incompetence of poettering dosen't make that surprising at all) I'm willing to make that kind of compromise

     @MatejLach @Wolf480pl And he really is incompetent. Putting dns stack into pid 1 is a very very good idea. I wouldn't trust a person who doesn't even understand how su works to be responsible for something as important as writing code for pid 1.

     @MatejLach @Wolf480pl init should be responsible for one thing only and that is initializing and supervising system services but not replacing stuff like cron or adding session tracking functionality.
