   anyways here is a Scifi Gripe: If one side has instant teleportation for their army by means of Wormhole or Farcaster or whatever you want to call it, and the other needs months to move armies planet A to B, then the side with the godlike logistics should probably just win, and yet,

     @djsumdog yeah, but [spoilers for voltron and , obv] the voltron scene I just watched essentially had somebody talking about how the Bad Guys can create wormholes essentially at will to move stuff, and Hyperion has the farcaster network where it does take maybe a few hours to set up a portal and also a few to travel but that compares to MONTHS of space travel, and yet, bot of these people lose
