     @kfist I pretty much grew up on Knight Rider though. It's not a logical feel, or even a justifyable feel (like tfw no AE86). I just can't help it, I love that car.

     @kfist Heh. Manual control over them sounds dangeroud for exactly that reason.
     
     What about having them extend automatically and having some vaguely female robotic voice tell you "Main active electronic sensors enabled. Please check the driver integrated passive systems."
