   @joeld ssh will probably stay if just because it does a bunch more stuff other than just encrypt and also, double layers won't hurt anybody, but, I guess?

     @joeld yeah but ssh also does a lot of just convenience stuff, like key-based login, easy port forwarding (static ans SOCKS), easily setup x forwarding, sftp, it also lets you to restrict access in various ways (want user to be able to only run certain commands in certain folders), et cetera - that's all valuable stuff
