My initial reaction to a trans flag in A Hat In Time would be "whatever, its just an easter egg, just ignore it."

...it WOULD be, except these are the same assholes who kick up a shit-fit over cartoon frogs and long established hand gestures. Who use authoritarian mob outrage to have them banned and purged on sight, no matter the harm done along the way.

So fuck 'em. I feel no sympathy. This is the sword you people lived by, its only fair you feel the other end of it now and again.
