I understand this kind of thing is a tactic in Parliamentary democracies, but I can't say I respect it much. A coalition of individually toothless parties tag teaming to get rid of the party they don't like serves the interests of said parties more than the public.
Even if they win, I'd bet money they couldn't help form coherent policies or manage the country better with whatever seats they manage to win. And I say this as someone with very little love for the LDP.
