   I'm feeling nostalgic. Story time!
   
   When I first installed GNU/Smug (GNU/Social version) I tried logging in to SPC because I didn't understand how federation works. Pretty sure @moonman has had my password all this time.

     @moonman In my defense fedi was not even 0.01% the size it's now and I was yoloing it on a Saturday.

     @nepfag @moonman When I first joined fedi the only software I knew of was Mastodon and the only instance I knew of was pawoo.net
     I just wanted a project to play with and thought I'd get bored with it in a week or two and take it down.
     Here we are almost 8 months later and I'm still having a great time.
     Still no clue how I found any of you guys, it just sort of happened.

     @sjw @moonman TWKN works in mysterious ways. Apparently I was also the first person @lain talked to after installing GNU/Social. It came up in an article on robek.world a while back.
