I tried to play more Hitman Absolution, just to see if I was wrong and it got better. It did not.
They almost had me interested during an extended infiltration mission...going from the parking lot to the security office to the courtyard, lobby, factory floor of an arms factory actually almost started to feel like a real Hitman game for a moment.
Then it went off the rails again. Mission objectives appear with no context or explanation, locations change for no reason...this game is dog shit.

All sense of immersion, place, and logic are piledrived through the floor constantly. It honestly feels like six people each wrote their own stories in isolation, along with predetermined set pieces based on the logic of "this would be cool", then they were stitched together in random order.

Why is there a redneck fight club in the basement of a munitions factory?
Why is it beyond multiple security checkpoints and research labs?
Why is some super clone worth millions of dollars (by the story's own logic) tested on in a super duper science lab in said facility, but then taken out of that secure facility and held in a county jail for safekeeping?
Latex kung-fu nuns with rocket launchers weren't even an issue for me compared to all of the above. This is turbo shit, I hate it.
