     also, remember that she's lived through a lot of conflict. ww2, the cold war, all of them. i imagine living through that as the monarch of one of the countries involved must leave you rather relieved that tensions have cooled down and people that used to invent weapons of mass destruction to kill eachother can now go to the same school
