     @satanya yeah docker makes it awkward - how are you building/running the image? are you mounting a local directory or using a prebuilt image?

     @satanya you don't have an EXPOSE line anywhere, but that dockerfile builds just fine for me, and seems to start up ok (albeit with postgres issues because i didn't set up the DB)
     
     where exactly is your update hanging? on the build stage? or when you run the container?
