really disappointed with that stuff from ann leckie, like started off with something genuinely interesting, the concept of being an "i" that is simultaneously just a working part inside of a larger emergent "i", similar to a brain being composed of individual cells working in tandem

but then in the second of those books it immediately devolves into a warrior-of-justice fetish like superman v nazis or something, just (´･ω･`)
