@thatbrickster @zemichi eh, self-destructive behavior is common no matter where you look. I think weight classes contribute to it, too. You have men and women dehydrating themselves to dangerous levels before weigh-in day to be 10 pounds lighter than when they step into the octagon, just so they can fit just into the weight class and have as much size advantage they can get.

I don't get why you would point this out. It's not like people fight dehydrated, they are only severely dehydrated during the weigh-in part, which is a day before the match. Fighters can gain like 20-30 pounds in 24 hours from just drinking water.
