@feld @fluffy most of my cooking with egg requires that it be at room temp when I start cooking it. Family keeping it in the fridge messes my cooking up... -

@feld @fluffy with eggs in particular you may or may not refrigerate them
but if they ever were in a fridge, they need to be kept refrigerated.
the opposite is true of cheese, it won't go "bad" from being left outside the fridge, but if you do you either use it up or throw it away. -

@hj @feld @fluffy personally I buy bread that's small enough that I eat it up in 3 days from a local bakery, that way I don't have to worry about it
