   the arbitrary limits put into place are very frustrating
   
   they're designed to emulate the worst features of Twitter - the ones meant to inhibit high-quality conversations from occurring
   
   I at least somewhat understand a character limit, but preventing users from uploading more than four attachments? Or requiring the attachments be a strict, small selection of file types? Not a fan, not at all.
   
   (for example, this post has six anime girls attached, but Mastodon users will only see four)
