     @sjw what i'm imagining is that at the point of logging in i might be faced with an unpassable page, that wont let me use the site, and i bet theres a "phone us or email us to delete your account" advice so that you cant merely claim that they're breaking the law by not letting you delete, basically making it as difficult as possible.
     
     and i know they do this because long time ago i did try to delete my account but it was too much hassle, so i just left it disabled instead, because it was easier
