   No, the process was not straightforward and I ended up losing half the python scripts in a hosting provider outage so I can't even share it.
   
   I accomplished it, but the experience was terrible and nobody should do it. If you have a gnu social server, deprecate it and get your users to migrate over to a new Pleroma instance on a different subdomain.
