the most time consuming part of installing ubuntu is removing localization stuff I guess
why put it there in the first place tho-

like, package managers are pretty good, they could probably install all the locales you actually wanted, which would make this process pretty redundant -

you can install the locales you want, without installing all of them and *then* deleting
