@deadheat our government didn't want to interfere too much, some irrelevant priests raised a stink about a shutdown being unacceptable but episcopate gave a dispension so later limitations went down without much protests from the flock. Right now we're in a state of epidemic so it became limited to 50 people per parish and now to 5 – mine has strongly been advising people, especially grannies, to just watch the mass on the telly though, for a while. We have limited freedom of movement too.

@deadheat it's more relaxed here, probably because people take this seriously and don't walk around much. General rules are that pigs may inquire about your purpose but „essentials” (which include shopping, walking a dog and even a daily stroll) are fine – I think the idea is to stop faggots from gathering and playing with a ball or whatever. Didn't stop some brainlets from taking part in now illegal (since freedom of gathering is basically suspended) anti-government manifestations, it's very funny and would be even more if they infected each other.Speaking of, there are supposed to be elections in May. Government (probably rightfully) claims there are no valid reasons to suspend or move them yet but opposition is screeching autistically because the candidate from PiS' camp is getting huge gains in polls lately for taking the threat seriouslt (unlike opposition who is capable only of taking shit the government lately – or ever since PO lost in 2015). Some members of the totally apolitical, neutral (according to the Constitution) and absolutely not corrupt judiciary seem to be trying to sabotage it by pulling out of committees too, very rule of law of them wwwww

@deadheat also crime fell, dramatically wwwwwwwww

@deadheat here, biweekly spread of polls for the first round (during which a candidate would have to get over 50% to become a president, otherwise it goes to round 2 between two highest ranking candidates)

@deadheat Duda - current president coming from PiS camp, plastic smileKidawa-Błońska - largest opposition party's candidate (who are EU/Germoney's footstools), constantly says stupid shit and makes mistake reading her speech from a piece of paperBiedroń - le rainbow gay man whose party's main political point is le rainbow an shietKosiniak-Kamysz - peasant party's candidate typical for his party known to be as resilient as cockroachesBosak - hard right and hard euroskepticHołownia - an independent journo

@deadheat Duda's been consistently polling as the winner but only in second round – it would've been landslide if he got 50%+ from the start but it almost never happens in here, at least in the third republic (see pic). The crisis is giving him gains though – the primary reason why the opposition wants the elections postponed (I imagine preferably for after the aftershocks of the anti-corona-chan measures hit)Bolish society at the moment is more or less split between PiS supporters and supporters of „anything but PiS”. The high fracture of the „anything but PiS” camp of course doesn't help them at all. It's been like that ever since PiS lost power in 2007 after their government broke down halfway into the term. It also marked the start of targetting suspected PiS supporters in public spaces for bullying too – which backfired and led to creation of the „concrete” voter base who vote for PiS on principle (and which I'm part of ever since certain scum pushed me down the stairs because of a suspicion that my views are double plus ungood – they were right, not that I ever externalised said views in that crowd, but it's perverse how PO/KO is framing themselves as goddamn angels of (EU-mandated) liberty and tolerance nowadays)

@deadheat frankly, ever since 2005 the left-wing's role and importance on bolish politics has been marginal. They had some gains lately but that's still nothing.

@fixpoint @deadheat to be frank, I have no proof it was the specimen in question who threw accusations about my personal politics before – I was pushed from behind and afterwards wasn't in a state to look because it hurt too much. Nobody else had a motive though, and the arsehole was behind me at the time – but of course nobody saw anything ehhh

@fixpoint @deadheat *a fellow dweller of the same shithole who has since flown to the greener, Western pastures; overconfident and with inflated sense of self-worth which in turn led to being very outspoken about things

@mombi @deadheat they formally use „people's party” but it's funnier to call them peasants. Even if „cockroaches” is more appropriate considering the lengths they'll go to in order to remain relevant.

@mombi @deadheat you know what they say, everyone in PSL is related to one another in some way wwIt's a bit shameful that they have nothing in common with the historic PSL (or rather many PSLs) though. Commies made sure of it.
