Seems my PS2 started scratching discs in a circular, shallow way. Culprit is traceable to the ribbon cable which seems to flex upwards now – I bent and taped it down so now hopefully it won't pop out again.Testing it right now on a trash CD audio disc from a magazine. Since its contents were trash, the surface is pristine so any damage will be more visible. The issue should be happening somewhere after the middle lazor position so I suspect I'll just have to listen to this whole crap album :cirnoForReals:
