@mewmew@coolboymew@ink32@sjw The riots were bad, they were just downplayed by the media. Left-liberals spun into serious damage control if you brought up how much crime jumped during the riots.
@Moon@coolboymew@ink32@sjw To an extent, yes. Obama should've taken more action, and encouraged states to take more action, to combat police brutality. The riots under Obama were not nearly as bad as the riots under Trump.
@mewmew@coolboymew@ink32@sjw >But if you look at why people are rioting, a significant amount of it is due to Trump's failures to unite Americans.Do you agree that the BLM riots during Obama's tenure were because Obama failed to unite Americans? And that it was Obama's fault they weren't under control?
@mewmew@ink32@sjw How is Trump responsible for the riots? Please explain this to meThe riots continuing is the failure of the democratic mayors. The federal level actually has little power in enacting anything on the states as far as I know. This is prime TDS. The only reasons the feds were able to be deployed is that because federal buildings has been hit>I don't see many people making excuses for riots on either side. No one is pretending the riots are 100% peacefulUhhh, no, there's been worldwide attempts basically at attempting to downplay Antifa and making the riots looks peaceful> And Trump is shit-stirring with sending in Feds to areas that explicitly didn't want them there.Feds building were hit, thus the feds were deployed. Hell, it probably wasn't even Trump's personal call>yes, Trump is responsible (Twitter link)Is that truly the best you have?
@coolboymew@ink32@sjw How can the mayors stop the riots exactly? The real people responsible for the riots are the rioters. But if you look at why people are rioting, a significant amount of it is due to Trump's failures to unite Americans. And for that, I hold him fully responsible.
@coolboymew@ink32@sjw Trump is responsible for the riots. He's responsible for the riots continuing. I don't see many people making excuses for riots on either side. No one is pretending the riots are 100% peaceful. And Trump is shit-stirring with sending in Feds to areas that explicitly didn't want them there.Trump has lied from the first day in office when he said he had the biggest inauguration crowd ever. I remember when we didn't expect to get bullshitted by the president.
@mewmew@ink32@sjw Who's currently responsible for the riots? Who's currently responsible for the riots continuing? Who's making excuses for the riots? Who's currently responsible for pretending the riots are totes peaceful? Who's attempting to stir shit on feds actually acting on the riots? And Trump lying, just like how the press was attempting to discredit him saying that all most violent cities were democrat run (it's like 17/20, so basically, yeah, it's true), in which they use this technicality to say he just lied? This happens so many fucking timesI know that your source on "thousands of lies" is from a democrat outlet basically full of dumb technicalities like that and other shit that amounts to autistic schizo level of Trump Derangement Syndrome at not not understanding that Trump is the big mouth type where the man is going to say the US is greatest and the bestest constantly in a big fat hyperole, because that's how the an talkJust going to the page itself this is the first thing we see, fucking christ, really?
@coolboymew@ink32@sjw Trump leading Biden in swing states - untrue. And I have no idea of what "democrats bullshit" you are talking about. Trump is a president who has said thousands of lies. Not every Democrat is truthful 100% of the time, but no one comes close to Trump.
@ink32@mewmew He's not a leftist tho. Also, if Tim really is right wing then why does everybody on the right always shit on him for being a boring centrist who never has any strong opinions?
@mewmew I like Tim because he's a centrist so his news delivery is pretty well balanced and not really left or right. It's pretty neutral. Yeah, he's somewhat biased on some things but he's an actual journalist so he tried to avoid being biased when he can and admits that he is biased on some things. However, overall, he's way more fair and balanced than all the sources that claim to be fair and balanced.
@sjw he's not a centrist. he's a right-winger falsely claiming to be a centrist. and most of his videos are him reading tabloids.if you think he's a centrist, that says more about your political views than his.
@shmibs I have every reason to believe that yes, emergence from lockdown contributed to this.Incidentally, the same "weird year" arguments were used in the last BLM unrest.
