   I'm sitting here wondering how a man who started a huge fire by doing hot-shot stunts, hid away while the fire killed 120 of his fellow soldiers and did immense damage to an aircraft carrier, survived that fallout only because his daddy was top brass, repeatedly got into incidents where his aircraft got written off due to his own incompetence, willingly gave sensitive information to his enemy in exchange for preferential prison treatment, sabotaged POW rescue operations in order to prevent his fellow soldiers from ratting him out, repeatedly voted to get into every war possible, and constantly voted explicitly against the interests of his own political party is somehow treated as a war hero and honorable man.
   
   Am I going crazy, or is it the world that's crazy?
