     @mewmew literally @nikalthough i dont even mean performance issues, i mean how like if u click on a specific conversation, it still shows every other message in the thread, and as much as i hate mastofe its really nice to be able to just read a conversation normally lol

     @mewmew @essie @nik mmm, this. can't think of anything like pre-twitter that worked that way, so maybe acclimated to it early, and interacting now things that hide half the posts is super annoying, takes forever to read a thread and always feel weirdly anxious about having missed something.

     @essie @shmibs @nik I just make a mental model of the threadI will admit, in 500+ post hellthreads, MastoFE's method is better. but usually PleromaFE is better for below that
