     @lain depends a lot on the filesystem if it's that simple no? with lvm I had to do serious messing about to make it possible to set swap including booting into gparted

     @lain last time I had to add swap to a linux machine it was a massive pain so I didn't even bother starting it, might be easier on the server

     @shpuld was adding swap not enough for you? the increased memory usage is not unbounded.

     There's a bug in one of the core libraries that pleroma uses that leads to increased memory usage. It will be fixed in the next bugfix release, so if you're encountering this issue now, please wait warmly.
