Cover made a follow-up statement to their handling of suspending Haato and Coco.I'm neutral on their statement.

@hakui To be fair all the vtuber CEO happen to be incompetent. So compared to everyone else he's doing a good job.
-
@zemichi @hakui why does this even need a ceo? like is it something more than just "girl does a livestream with avatar"?
-
@zemichi ceo is bleeding the goodwill he's painstakenly accumulated

It's fair to say "hololive serves different regions and we have to be mindful of that" because it's true. The issue is that talents were punished because of regions they themselves do not serve. Ok so you mirror streams, that doesn't count for "serving different regions" because a talent could say something that they themselves don't consider offensive to other regions because they weren't informed about it.Punishment for the CEO is ok. The initial statement was so bad it jeopardized everyone else because you dragged them into a political fight they can't even respond to.

@Elfie @hakui @zemichi hmm, i guess it makes sense. just seems kind of strangelike adding more company-stuff increases censorship, seems would attract fewer daifans than more-independents

@shmibs @zemichi @hakui marketing, public relations, market insight, events, merchandise, contracts, taxes and software/hardware maintenance/if anythere are quite a few streamers under the same company so have to multiply this by each employee and take into account regional concerns( language, culture) and any additional expending caused by personnel the last part wouldn't be an issue in America but it's quite the hassle in places such as Asia
