When your profits are getting beat by phone png waifu games it makes everything you do pointless because people expect huge budgets and high quality.Console makers also violated the cardnal sin of console games and that was ditching shovelware or B tier games. The reason why anime games are ditching playstation is because the censorship cuts into the expected profits and they have to hit an expected sales goal or have to pay sony money for failing to reach that goal. So if you're a dev on PS4 you have to pay a penalty for Sony screwing up your game.Want proof sony knew they fucked up? Look up the Azur Lane game on ps4. They actually decensored the panty shots for that game which was not censored on the switch. THEY DECENSORED A GAME BY CHINESE BEFORE THEY DECENSORED THEIR OWN JAPANESE GAMES.
