wew, I guess it's decided by the number of souls I harvested and sold to the Devil astral pieces I brought to my best friend niggerman – the ship is now empty of dead people

@guizzy ye, I forgot what I was supposed to do some times and at one time missed a thing that dropped in the radio room - prompting a sequence of backtracking -

@guizzy I saved before the engine room which I vaguely remember involves being chased and solving puzzles while on a timer before game is over. a bit too much for today so I'll finish it some other time. -

@guizzy @deadheat I finished it. The last section is honestly not nearly as tense as I remember it – my memory clearly failed me or I've gotten better at King's Field-style controls since then ehhhh Now to replay the second game. As far as I remember, I didn't free one soul in time (afair it disappeared at one point? It was in the boathouse and that area was as dark as an unlit room in the basement full of niggers) and was barred from one of the endings at which point I ragequit so this time I'll be aiming at 100% w

@guizzy @deadheat I played all of KF around 2014, followed by Echo Night and Beyond ~ Echo Night in the past. I remember that when the patch for the second Echo Night dropped in 2015, I was relatively fresh after playing the first game and hype was quite high. -

@roka @deadheat Nice job. I'll have to finish it myself, I think I'm about 2/3rd of the way.If you haven't played it, I very highly recommend King's Field IV. It doesn't need any background, the story is not related to 1-3, and it's more playable than earlier From Software games. -

@guizzy @deadheat anyway, I hope you like blackjack since that's probably the most annoying part of the first game. You need to win at roulette a few times (easy since you can bet at colours) and then score at least 200 chips at blackjack to free all of the staff ehhh I should actually check how many claim tickets I managed to find - each can be exchanged for an amount of chips from what I remember and they're scattered all over the ship; perhaps they count too. But I think playing blackjack has a fixed value of 100 starting chips so you have to double it. -

@guizzy @deadheat good, the notes keeps track of every character and it's pretty easy to see who else has yet to vanish. When you're done with everyone, the spooky niggerman hiding behind the wall sun will do magic and vanish until the end of the game – the game is kind for letting you know you're done like that.
