     There's a nice guy here with kotatsu ????But due to #COVID19 they cannot be used ????

     The keeper is friendly and speaks English fluently; he worked in New Zealand. He also did mountain climbing in Nepal, but not the Langtang valley (where I went a few years ago).

     The hut had coffee and カレーうどん.Since it's cold and I'm really hungry, I decided to go for it, even though I was sure it wouldn't be vegetarian ????

     The host figured out I wouldn't appreciate the chicken and took it out, at least the largest chunks. Anyway, it was delicious; it's unbelievable that you can get real food in a hut at 2500m for just ¥800.#nonvegetarian

     Another おばあちゃん slowly but steadily hiking down the trail... This one seems to be going alone (the group in the back is climbing up).

     Uh-oh... I felt a few drops... and I forgot the raincoat in the car ????

     That's what I deserve for mocking the "over-equipped" hikers when I lack even the basics...

     They're not just well equipped, they also seem to be following a guide in indian file, copying every step.

     I don't think I would enjoy hiking in such structured way...

     Of course all the other hikers are fully geared from head to toe, even though it's a beginners' trail.

     I'm the only one walking around in civilian clothes and sneakers ????@globalc #hiking
