      @georgia @methyltheobromine Years ago someone told me that the RIAA takes a cut of musician sales to cover "breakage" which is a term for when records would be delivered to stores and a significant portion of them would break in the process, making them of course unsellable. This was literally before vinyl records were invented and they were still taking "breakage" fees on CDs and MP3 sales. These people are scum.
