I set myself the task of creating a textual version of low-res GIF of the original Japanese version of the Nobel lecture of Yasunari Kawabata.
It takes of course ages but is very instructive.
I came across another very compact Japanese word, a Buddhist term "onri" or "enri", 厭離, meaning "Departing from this world in disdain."
厭 means "to get tired of, to dislike"離 means separation
