     @amerika @temporaryDouchebag The AI ethicist woman who was fired from Google more or less agreed with you, just because something is popular doesn't mean it is the best result.I cannot rectify the rest of this post with reality because I remember how bad search engines used to be, and how much better Google was, and continues to be, despite its problems. Maybe Google is not the company it once was (it's definitely not) but please don't tell me it was a scam from the beginning.

     @temporaryDouchebag Google has been a scam from the beginning.Their search engine works by popularity. Great, it's digital democracy; obviously insane, and produces low-quality results.Gmail was cool but had no business model. Free email! But we get to read it. And now they've figured out that it does not make money, and so they're cutting account storage so they can hire more obese affirmative action candidates and bluehairs.Then they started launching all these projects designed to show how Godlike they were in intelligence. All have failed.Now their search engine is officially built around tailoring results to the user, which means that you can't find anything except shopping results.Truly a bunch of moron proles pretending to be genius kings.
