本日の書棚から適当に1冊は『Pythonではじめる数学の冒険』（Peter Farrell著・鈴木幸敏訳・オライリージャパン発行）。
PythonとProcessingを使って数学的な課題を解いていく書。たくさん出ている類書と比べると、視覚的な、グラフィカルな処理を中心に据えているのが特徴。最近のProcessingはPythonで書くことができるので、こういうアプローチは良いと思う。類書ではこの本がいちばん読みやすいように感じる。Pythonの知識ゼロからはじめて、セルオートマトンや遺伝的アルゴリズムまで、幅広く取り扱ってる。2020年11月刊。#ライクロフトの本棚
