   @mametsuko kinda obvious, but it gets easier the more movies you watch, at least it did for me. until recently I found it hard to watch english movies without subtitles (even though I could understand youtube videos perfectly), so I resorted to using subtitles. but then I forced myself to watch like 3 movies with subs disabled and understanding what was said became quite easier

     i've been intensively using english for the past 5 years but still hard to watch english films without english subtitles
